Join George Brown College’s 25th annual Mental Health Conference on February 27th 2025. This year’s theme is Thriving Together in the Classroom: Creating the Conditions for Student Well-Being. The conference will feature a keynote by Carolyn Roberts, a member of the Squamish Nation. Carolyn is a speaker, author, and Indigenous scholar at the University of British Columbia, who leverages her voice to promote Indigenous resurgence through education.=. The conference will also include a panel discussion with student and teaching faculty sharing their experiences and insights on strategies that effectively promote student well-being. The 7th International Association for Youth Mental Health Conference will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia with the theme, "Turning the Tide: Creating a global blueprint for the prevention and integrated care in Youth Mental Health." The 2025 University of Calgary Conference on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching will take place in Calgary from April 28th to April 30th, 2025. This year’s conference theme, Reassessing Student Assessment in Postsecondary Education will examine the evolving landscape of student assessment. The event will focus on the importance of incorporating ethical technology use, transparency, the well-being of students and educators, and continuous research on assessment practices to advance postsecondary education. Save the date for the 15th annual conference for the Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies (CACBT). The 2025 conference theme is “Navigating Rocky Relationships,” and topics will range from enhancing your relationship with food (for non-eating disorder therapists) to fostering a healthier relationship with yourself and managing other complex relationship dynamics. The theme of the conference, “Doing Good (In) Evaluation: the Basics and Beyond,” provides a venue to share ideas and contribute to the future of evaluation and how evaluative practices can adapt to evolving landscapes. The Collaborations for Change Conference: Connecting Research and Practice in Post-Secondary Mental Health brings together difference makers from across Canada to collaborate on advancing knowledge, practice, and research in post-secondary student mental health. The 2025 virtual conference will bring post-secondary students, service professionals, mental health providers, and researchers together to have meaningful conversations on how to best move forward to integrate research and practice in post-secondary mental health. Students, whether working towards careers in academia or in professional practice, are vital for informing and sustaining collaborations as we move forward. The conference will feature presentations, panels, rapid-fire presentations, and workshops across the following five conference
