The Excellence through Quality Improvement Project
(E-QIP) is a partnership project between Addictions & Mental Health Ontario, Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario, the Provincial System Support Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and Ontario Health (Quality) to promote and support quality improvement in the community mental health and addictions sector.

(HQO) is the province’s advisor on health care quality operating under Ontario Health
. HQO monitors and reports on how the health system is performing, provides guidance on important quality issues, assesses evidence to determine what constitutes optimal care, partners with patients and give them a voice in shaping a quality health system and promotes continuous quality improvement aimed at substantial and sustainable positive change in health care.
Institute for Healthcare Improvement
The Institute for Healthcare Improvement
(IHI) uses improvement science to advance and sustain better outcomes in health and health care across the world. IHI aims to bring awareness of safety and quality, accelerate learning and the systematic improvement of care, develop solutions to previously intractable challenges, and mobilize health systems, communities, regions, and nations to reduce harm and deaths.
IHI works in collaboration with the improvement community to work towards the improvement of the health of individuals and populations and provides support and resources to change health and health care for the better.
Network for Improvement and Innovation in College Mental Health
The Network for Improvement and Innovation in College Mental health
(NIICMH) aims to catalyze a collective of diverse individuals, institutions of higher education, and entities working together in pursuit of the best overall health for college students through innovation and quality improvement.
NIICH is a learning network for facilitating testing of new approaches to achieving better results, co-creation of innovations, and r
apid spread of key learnings. The network offers a range of engaging resources and edu
cational activities focused on: quality improvement methods; using data and measurement to drive improvement efforts; and effective approaches to leading teams, overcoming barriers, and facilitating change.
Provincial System Support Program
The Provincial System Support Program
(PSSP) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health works with communities, service providers and other partners across Ontario to move evidence to action to create sustainable, system-level change. With offices in Toronto and across the province, PSSP is on the ground, collaborating with stakeholders to build a better system through our work in implementation, knowledge exchange, evaluation and data management, and health equity and engagement.
