14th Annual Conference: Addressing the Challenges of a Changing World

  The Canadian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies/L'Association Canadienne des thérapies cognitives et comportementales (CACBT/ACTCC), is hosting their 14th annual conference on the theme of “Addressing the Challenges of a Changing World”. The conference focuses on applying national standards of CBT, fostering conversations between mental health professionals to improve knowledge and training in CBT, and advance and spotlight CBT research. Some of the topics covered at this year’s conference include difficulties and opportunities for reconciliation when administering CBT with Indigenous people, climate anxiety in youth, mindfulness and meditation in mood and anxiety disorders, and managing insomnia in adolescents. Call for Abstracts: CICMH Virtual Conference

The Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health (CICMH)’s annual conference, Dialogue to Action, is now accepting abstract submissions. This conference brings together post-secondary mental health professionals in Ontario and across Canada to discuss objectives and take-aways applicable to their work. The theme of the conference, Dialogue to Action: The work continues, highlights the importance of both discussing and acting to improve the mental health of post-secondary students.
