The Umbrella Project is an evidence-based harm reduction program developed by Algonquin College.  The Umbrella Project provides training, workshops, education, awareness, and support services for students who use substances.    The project goals included the development and creation of a sustainable harm reduction framework for post-secondary institutions, based on best practices and evidence-based research.  The socio-ecological model addresses individual, interpersonal, institutional, and community standpoints.
