The Evaluation 201 workshop, hosted by the Center for Innovation in Campus Mental Health (CICMH), is designed to provide participants with the opportunity to learn about conducting program evaluation that goes beyond satisfaction surveys and involves the systematic exploration of questions such as “What is working well? What could be improved? What differences are we making with the work that we do?

Participants will be able to plan and design a program or service evaluation that is useful to their campus community, where the findings and the process can inform decisions and improve practice. A case study example of how one Ontario campus has incorporated program evaluation into their practice will be shared and discussed. Participants are encouraged to bring a program or service plan that needs an evaluation plan to discuss methods and evaluation questions that can be developed.
