The Practicing Knowledge Translation (PKT) course, offered by the Knowledge Translation Program at St Michael’s Hospital and Unity Health Toronto, equips participants with the tools to use implementation science directly in your program or initiative. The course takes place for 16 hours, spread out over four days. Data parties are frequently underemployed; however, they play a critical part in advancing equity, translating knowledge effectively to the intended audience, and increasing the uptake of recommendations. Presenter Kylie Hutchison will walk attendees through the “who, what, why, when and how,” of hosting a data party.
