Foundations to Quality Improvement (IDEAS) is an e-Learning Course offered by the Excellence through Quality Improvement Project (E-QIP’s). The course offers a comprehensive introduction to quality improvement course and is intended for clinical, administrative, or volunteer members of the community mental health and addiction sector who are new to quality improvement.

Excellence through Quality Improvement Project (E-QIP) is a partnership initiative between Addictions and Mental Health Ontario (AMHO), the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Ontario and Ontario Health (formerly Health Quality Ontario). E-QIP is designed to build and support increased capacity and capability of the community mental health and addiction sector to improve the care of clients through quality improvement (QI) activities.
E-QIP has developed a list of Quality Improvement Tools and Templates to support Mental Health and Addictions sector QI projects.
Excellence through Quality Improvement Project
The Excellence through Quality Improvement Project (E-QIP) is a partnership project between Addictions & Mental Health Ontario, Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario, the Provincial System Support Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), and Ontario Health (Quality) to promote and support quality improvement in the community mental health and addictions sector.Health Quality Ontario
Health Quality Ontario (HQO) is the province’s advisor on health care quality operating under Ontario Health. The Action Network for Equitable Wellbeing (ANEW) aims to catalyze a collective of diverse individuals, institutions, and entities working together in pursuit of building higher education settings committed to student wellbeing. In particular, the network seeks to remove wellbeing-related barriers to academic achievement, enable equitable conditions for students, and accelerate improvements in student wellbeing. ANEW offers resources for changemaking as well as a shared theory and measure of improvement to assist in defining what changes should be made, how changes are created, and who is involved in the changemaking process.Provincial System Support Program
