Research has shown that rates of suicide are significantly higher among Indigenous and 2SLGBTQ+ populations. This in-person, all-day event will facilitate deep discussions on suicide prevention within Indigenous populations, 2SLGBTQ+ mental health and suicide prevention, and trauma-informed care. This in-person course is intended to provide learners with the foundations of professional evaluation including underlying evaluation theory, ethical considerations and standards, identifying objectives, stakeholder engagement, describing programs, creating evaluation questions, identifying indicators, research design and methods, data management and analysis, work planning, evaluation reporting. Developing a Campus Mental Health Strategy
