The first session, entitled "When Knowledge Isn’t Enough: Closing the loop on implementing evidence-based changes," will investigate how researchers can engage student mental health knowledge users to create effective research designs. Join the Centre for Innovation in Campus Mental Health (CICMH) for a discussion on Black student mental health. Naiima Farah, a Faculty Counsellor from George Brown College, will discuss what factors contribute to mental health difficulties among African, Black and Caribbean (ABC) students, such as the impact of colonial violence.
