CACUSS has created the Canadian Student Affairs Assessment Institute (CSAAI), where practitioners can build essential assessment knowledge and skills for their professional repertoire.
CSAAI is a layered curricular experience where participants will interact with various facilitators, large and small groups, and engage in both synchronous and asynchronous learning. The Institute is centered around the Core outcomes of the CACUSS Research, Assessment & Strategic Planning competencies, providing participants with a robust foundation in assessment. It is tailored for student affairs professionals at any experience level who seek to gain fundamental knowledge and skills in assessment and apply them to effectively evaluate a program, service, or resource.
CSAAI offers a blend of theory and practice to ensure practitioners gain assessment knowledge and skills that enhance their ability to evaluate student learning, development, and success, including the effectiveness of their programs and services. At the core of this learning experience is a dedication to examine diverse perspectives in assessment methods, embracing and incorporating equity-focused practices, and fostering a sustainable learning community.
