Alternative Evaluation: A Tapestry of Perspectives to Nurture the Culture of Evaluation

Join the Canadian Evaluation Society for a webinar on “Alternative Evaluation,” an initiative that applies diverse ontologies to evaluation methods. Ontologies such as Indigenous and decolonized evaluation approaches, culturally responsive evaluations, and religious and gender perspectives, are considered in the analysis and reflexivity of evaluators to enhance evaluation practices. Presenter Celest Ghiano, general coordinator of ReLAC (Latin America and the Caribbean Network of Monitoring, Evaluation and Systematization), will showcase a website that utilizes alternative evaluation approaches, and will discuss best practices and challenges.
