BC Campus Suicide Prevention InitiativeApr 11, 2024 | Healthy Minds | Healthy Campuses
Created in in collaboration with twelve campuses across British Columbia, five public service announcement videos were developed with the goal to create awareness of mental health and suicidal ideation and use evidence-based approaches to identify and support students experiencing distress.
Two four-minute video stories and three 30 second clips were created. The videos are intended to be used in workshops and presentations and can function as a starting point for more in-depth discussions on suicide prevention awareness.
The BC Campus Suicide Prevention initiative was funded by the BC Ministry of Mental Health and Addictions and partnered with Canadian Mental Health Association – BC Division with support by Healthy Minds | Healthy Campuses.
