    Strengthening Our Connections to Promote Life: A Life Promotion Toolkit by Indigenous Youth was proposed in 2019 as a youth-centered and youth-led initiative to address suicide, mental wellness, and substance use in Indigenous communities. Created by the Youth Action Group for Life Promotion with support from the Thunderbird Partnership Foundation, this toolkit takes a life promotion approach to support Indigenous youth to live long and good lives. The toolkit contains the following: 

    • Introduction, including creating safe and brave spaces
    • Connection to Land 
    • Connection to Self 
    • Connecting to Community  
    • Connection to Spirituality  
    • Resources
