The 2025 University of Calgary Conference on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching

The 2025 University of Calgary Conference on Postsecondary Learning and Teaching will take place in Calgary from April 28th to April 30th, 2025. This year’s conference theme, Reassessing Student Assessment in Postsecondary Education will examine the evolving landscape of student assessment. The event will focus on the importance of incorporating ethical technology use, transparency, the well-being of students and educators, and continuous research on assessment practices to advance postsecondary education.

This in-person conference is structured around ten thematic threads: Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Accessibility; Blended and Online Learning; Experiential Learning; Indigenous Perspectives; Interdisciplinary Collaborations; Learning Partnerships; Learning Spaces and Technology; Mental Health and Wellbeing; Sustainability; Teaching and Learning Research, Scholarship and Inquiry.

Through the exploration these ten threads participants will have a unique opportunity to connect, share and exchange knowledge across three days of interactive sessions, presentations and more.
