Leah State

Leah has over 15 years of experience supporting student mental health and well-being within the post-secondary sector. As the Director of Student Wellbeing at Humber Polytechnic, her role focuses on fostering inclusive and accessible learning environments, overseeing campus well-being services, and embedding well-being into campus culture. Leah is particularly committed to strengthening community capacity to address mental health needs through a stepped care lens and advancing accessibility initiatives grounded in the social model of disability.
