Pulling Together: A Guide for Indigenization of Post-Secondary Institutions

BCcampus has developed Pulling Together: A Guide for Indigenization of Post-Secondary Institutions. This guide is part of a professional learning series to support Indigenization on Post-Secondary campuses.

The guide for Frontline Staff, Advisors, and Student Services is intended to help front line staff learn how to better support Indigenous students on campus via four main components:

1. Understanding Decolonization, Indigenization, and Reconciliation
2. Learning about Indigenous Students
3. Understanding Indigenous Worldview Values to Better Support Indigenous Students
4. Practices for the Indigenization of Student Services

The guide also includes promising practices and policies to support font-line staff with Indigenization efforts.
